Brief Music History Studied classical music with violin and piano in early grade school years, through high school and was selected to the "Study with a Master" program through the Grand Rapids Symphony and GRCC at 12 years of age. Picked up Synthesizers at 16, joined numerous rock and country bands prior to becoming keyboardist and singer / songwriter for Ironhorse, one of the Midwest's top Country Rock bands. The band had tour dates with Sawyer Brown, Aaron Tippin, Lee Roy Parnell, Jo Dee
Messina and numerous other popular country artists and released a self-titled CD. Charlie was personally offered a job by then up and coming country artist Mark Wills as keyboardist for his touring band, turning down the offer to promote Ironhorse.
Current Working Status: Charlie now performs dueling pianos shows for weddings, corporate events and tours the U.S. performing at select dueling pianos clubs and private events. "I work hard every day to be the best performer I can be. There's nothing like having fun and
getting paid for it!" |
